Round 6 of the Hi-Q Components Formula First Championship ✔️

Had a really strong Friday, finishing with a high of P2 in practice, and Saturday qualified P4—the highest qualifying position of any rookie this season starting race 1 on the second row of the grid! We had really strong pace shown in the wet. Sunday was dry and we just didn’t quite have the car pace in the dry still walked away from the weekend will a good haul of points and taking the positives away from it.

Looking forward to the final round of the championship at the home track!

Debut at Round 1 of the Toyota 86 Trophy Series completed ✔️

Lots of learning done this weekend, showing quick pace. Gaining lots of confidence in the car session to session, having the 3rd quickest lap in final race with a 3-way battle for p3 unfortunately had a brake issue on the final lap, causing me to have contact with the car in front and putting an end to a good race unfortunately dropping me down the order. Overall, not the results we were hoping for, but like I said me and the team know the pace is quick, so just eyes forward full focusing on round 2 at Taupo in 6 weeks’ time to get the results to show it!
